Role Title: IT Business Analyst

Employment Type: Contract (6 months) or Contract-to-Hire (6 months CTH)

Location: Northern Milwaukee area – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support enterprise applications—primarily Oracle E-Business Suite—and help optimize business processes in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between IT and business teams, driving scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for enterprise applications, with a focus on Oracle EBS.
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and functional specifications.
• Evaluate solution designs for technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of new tools and enhancements.
• Document business requirements, risks, and project updates clearly and thoroughly.
• Guide and mentor junior analysts and cross-functional teams on complex initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, recommending performance improvements.
• Stay up to date on ERP trends and share best practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in IT or enterprise application support, ideally with Oracle EBS.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with Waterfall project methodology.
• Proven ability to manage and support multiple (3+) concurrent projects.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with Jira and Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in supporting and optimizing critical business systems.
• Willingness to travel as required.
