A premier hospital in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a night-shift Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support their Neurosurgery team. This is your chance to scrub into trauma-first neurosurgery, work in a world-class facility, and experience the beauty of the Rockies — all while earning $150/hour + full travel & Lodging coverage. Shift & Schedule: 🕕 Hours: 6 PM – 6 AM | 12-hour in-house call shifts📅 Shifts Available: Up to 20 per month🛌 Onsite Sleep Room: Available during shifts🧠 First Assist Preferred The Practice: 🏥 100% hospital-based | Level I Trauma Center🔪 90% trauma | 98% adult patients📊 Daily Patient Load: 10–25 hospital patients 3–5 admissions 3 surgeries per day per physician🧑‍⚕️ Some supervision required on MD call coverage days💻 EMR: EPIC🧪 Full lab & x-ray support onsite Preferred Skills: Adult & trauma-focused neurosurgery ICP monitor placement Spinal surgeries (instrumented & non-instrumented) CVD: Endovascular, open, aneurysm clipping, carotid/vertebral artery procedures Compensation & Perks: 💵 $150/hour✈️ Free Travel🏨 Free Lodging🚗 Car Rental/Mileage Reimbursed🛡️ Comprehensive Malpractice Coverage Requirements: ✔️ Board Certified NP – Required✔️ Active CO license or compact state – Required✔️ Neurosurgery/trauma experience preferred✔️ Able to perform or assist in preferred procedures This is more than a job — it’s a high-stakes, high-reward experience in one of the most scenic cities in America.
