Job Description
Position Summary:
We are hiring a Production Manager to bring fresh energy, focus, and accountability to a busy commercial print and signage environment. You’ll lead the day-to-day coordination of production across multiple departments and ensure that jobs move on time, teams stay aligned, and output meets expectations.
This is a high-visibility role working directly with senior leadership. The right candidate will take ownership of scheduling, team coordination, and process follow-through, while learning the existing systems and identifying smart ways to make them even better.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own and manage the daily production schedule across offset, digital, wide-format/grand format, bindery, and finishing
• Track employee time on jobs and identify areas where estimates and actuals don’t align
• Lead job prioritization and departmental coordination to keep jobs moving without delays
• Participate in daily production huddles and communicate schedule shifts as needed
• Manage preventative maintenance plans and equipment service tracking
• Maintain accurate vendor and service contact info for equipment and materials
• Use Excel and other tools to track performance and support leadership in driving results
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in print production or manufacturing
• Deep understanding of commercial print workflows including offset, digital, and wide-format
• Comfortable managing schedules, people, and production expectations in a fast-moving environment
• Proficient with Excel and comfortable using digital tools for job tracking
• Organized, focused, and able to hold teams accountable to deadlines and standards
• Grand Format manufacturing experience is a strong plus
