Substance Abuse Counselor Intern
Are you passionate about providing opportunities for individuals to rebuild their lives? The Rescue Mission of Trenton is seeking a Counselor Intern for our Behavioral Health Unit. The Counselor Intern will work under supervision of the Director of Substance Abuse Counseling Services, and coordinate and provide counseling and supportive services to clients. Primary responsibilities include assessment and evaluation of resident needs and strengths, development and implementation of treatment plans, development and facilitation of education programs and group discussions and monitoring of resident progress.

Education: Minimum High School Diploma, B achelor’s or Master's degree from accredited college or university in psychology, social work or a related field preferred.
