Volt is immediately hiring for Field Service Engineers I in Boise, Idaho. As a Field Service Engineer you will: Install and maintain semiconductor equipment, this will include troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. This will include a high level of customer facing work. This is a full time, contingent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Fundamental understanding of vacuum and plasma technologies Understanding of basic operating principles of transistors and capacitors Familiarity with or hands-on experience in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals. Fundamental troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and systems. Experience working in a cleanroom environment. Must be able to travel internationally for training. Willingness to work as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on client’s needs.
