Join our team at Premier Outdoor Installations, a leading playground installation company dedicated to creating safe, innovative, and exciting play spaces for communities. We specialize in designing and constructing playgrounds that inspire creativity, promote physical activity, and foster social interaction for children of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of playground sites, including excavation, grading, and drainage
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of playground equipment
• Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and anchor playground structures, swings, slides, and other components according to manufacturer guidelines
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects
• Operate construction equipment and tools, such as drills, saws, and compactors, in a safe and effective manner
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of materials and debris
• Transfer, carry, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, lumber, tile, saws, grout, etc.
• Aid tradesmen, sub-contractors and craft workers such as painters, roofers, plasterers, carpenters, and electricians, as necessary
• Tear down old structures, and build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site
• Run hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as required
• Properly dispose of debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean and meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Experience operating construction equipment and machinery is preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Previous construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools and equipment, and an understanding of blueprints and construction plans is required
• High school diploma or equivalent is required - Associate's degree, trade certification, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred
• Possess a valid drivers license
• Both physical stamina and physical strength are essential
• Strong depth perception, good eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are helpful
