About the Role
The Company is in search of a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to spearhead its data privacy, compliance, and cybersecurity initiatives. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the organization's adherence to global data protection regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, while implementing robust security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2. This pivotal role involves managing the company's Data Privacy Management Platform, overseeing secure and compliant data handling across digital platforms, customer data systems, and marketing technologies, and leading efforts to integrate privacy-by-design principles into all business operations. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should possess deep expertise in data governance, access controls, privacy impact assessments, and third-party risk management. Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing privacy and security policies, leading incident response and regulatory reporting, conducting PIAs and risk assessments, and securing engineering processes. The role also requires oversight of third-party information security risk management, leading security awareness and training programs, and regular reporting on security risks and compliance status. The ideal candidate will work closely with legal, IT, and marketing teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to data privacy and security, and will collaborate with various stakeholders to establish enterprise-wide security policies and data privacy management solutions.
