Creative Ad Designer & Video Editor | Shopify + Meta Ads (Full-Time VA) full time Tabernack HQ: Houston, Texas, United States Remote job May 27 We’re hiring a Creative Ad Designer & Video Editor to help us bring our products to life through scroll-stopping ads, landing pages that convert, and visuals that actually match the brand. If you enjoy blending design, storytelling, and performance marketing this role is for you. A bit about us: Tabernack is a growing eCommerce brand focused on camping, outdoor, and prepping gear. We work with U.S.-based dropshipping suppliers to curate practical, reliable products for families and outdoor lovers. Right now, we’re in the early stages of launching our Shopify store, building our catalog, and dialing in our entire marketing system. You’ll be working closely with our product team to take products from idea to polished offer—this means turning product features into sharp ad creatives, strong landing pages, and engaging videos. You should have a good eye for design, know how to put together short-form video ads, and understand what makes someone stop scrolling. Even better if you’ve used tools like Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, Gempages, or Motion App to bring that creative vision to life. Huge bonus if you’ve actually run Facebook or TikTok ads yourself , even at a small scale. We love creatives who know how to look at things like CTR, hook retention, thumbstop rate, and cost per click—and then make something better the next time. What you’ll be doing: Creating image and video creatives for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads Designing product pages and landing pages using Gempages or Pagefly Collaborating with the product research team to understand each product’s angle, pain points, and competition Editing short-form videos (UGC-style) with great hooks and clear CTAs Keeping an eye on ad performance and using the data to improve creatives (CTR, thumbstop rate, watch time, etc.) Tools you should be familiar with: Canva or Photoshop CapCut, InShot, or any solid video editor Gempages or Pagefly for Shopify landing pages Meta Ads Manager (especially if you’ve ever uploaded or tested creatives) Motion App or anything similar for analyzing ad creative performance ChatGPT (we use it to help with ad copy, product angles, etc.) What kind of person fits this role: You’re creative but you also think about results You’re curious and like improving things You’re organized, detail-oriented, and communicate clearly You work well with others especially product researchers and marketers You don’t wait to be told what to do you figure it out or ask the right questions This probably isn’t for you if: You need to be micromanaged You’re not interested in improving based on feedback or data You’ve never heard of Shopify or how dropshipping works Pay: $4-6/hr + performance bonuses like: Video with hook retention over 30% = $25 bonus Landing page with 3%+ conversion rate = $50 bonus To apply: Send over 2–3 ad creatives or landing pages you’ve worked on (rough examples are totally fine).
