We are currently looking for a self-motivated, guest-focused candidate to fill the position of Front Desk Supervisor . The ideal candidate will be welcoming, efficient & professional. The Front Desk Supervisor (FDS) is responsible for the success of the front desk, ensuring efficiency, employee performance, and outstanding guest satisfaction. The FDS assists in all areas of the hotel to achieve and maintain Courtyard by Marriott , and Lafrance Hospitality standards. Duties include check-in/out, room assignments, handling payments, reservations, and guest communications. Pay: $20-22 Per Hour Responsibilities Works to achieve a friendly atmosphere for fellow associates and hotel guests Displays exemplary performance as an example for the staff to emulate Performs training and revenue management strategies with the staff Supervises Guest Representatives, Night Auditors and acts as Manager on Duty as needed Produces accurate financial reports on time Ensures that policy and procedure are followed and administered consistently Understands local health and safety codes Is knowledgeable about all brand standards Maintains a positive, cooperative work environment between personnel and management Minimum 1-2 years hotel front desk experience, Courtyard, Marriott, and FOSSE systems preferred Supervisory experience preferred but NOT required if you have hotel experience Strong interest and willingness to develop sound managerial and team building skills, to lead a team effectively Excellent communication, multitasking and organizational skills Comfortable with hotel computer reservation systems Ability to teach adult learners Available to work a flexible schedule ( Nights & weekends ) and cover shifts as needed
