As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with individuals on site, and act as a reliable resource for those in need of assistance. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue06:30 PM - 06:30 AMThur02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence. Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
