As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to respond promptly to any security-related concerns, assist with access control, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily duties. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing environments and conditions specific to the tech, media, and telecom location.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
